The information on this website is provided for general information only. While we aim to keep all information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all website content is complete, current, or suitable for every situation.

  1. No Legal or Engineering Advice

Information on this website should not be treated as legal, engineering, electrical design, or regulatory advice. Customers should seek advice from appropriately qualified professionals where required.

Our services are carried out within the agreed scope of work and in accordance with relevant standards, client instructions, site access, and practical site conditions.

  1. Quotes and Pricing

Any prices displayed on this website are general guide prices only unless confirmed in a written quote.

Final pricing may depend on site location, number of assets or tests required, access requirements, after-hours work, reporting requirements, induction requirements, parking, travel, site safety requirements, and any additional services requested.

A quote is valid only for the period stated in the quote. If no validity period is stated, the quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

  1. Bookings and Site Access

Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas, equipment, switchboards, rooms, plant, or systems required for the agreed service.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that site contacts, tenants, staff, contractors, or relevant personnel are informed of the scheduled service.

If we cannot complete the work due to restricted access, locked areas, unavailable equipment, unsafe conditions, or incorrect information provided by the customer, additional fees may apply.

  1. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate information and support safe completion of the work. This includes providing site and contact details, advising us of site-specific hazards, induction requirements, permits, or safety procedures, ensuring relevant equipment is available for testing, and reviewing reports after completion.

The customer remains responsible for taking action on any failed, faulty, unsafe, expired, or non-compliant items identified in a report or site communication.

  1. Safety and Compliance

A Plus Compliance Services takes safety seriously and may refuse, pause, or stop work where conditions are unsafe or outside the agreed scope.

Where faulty, failed, damaged, expired, unsafe, or non-compliant items are identified, they may be recorded in the report and, where appropriate, labelled or withdrawn from service.

The customer remains responsible for repairing, replacing, isolating, removing, or managing any failed or unsafe equipment unless a separate written agreement is made.

  1. Reports and Documentation

Reports are prepared based on information collected during the service visit and the scope of work agreed with the customer.

Reports may be provided in PDF, Excel, or another agreed format. The customer is responsible for reviewing reports and keeping them for their own compliance records.

Unless otherwise agreed, reports are issued after completion of the service and payment of any outstanding fees where applicable.

  1. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be stated on the invoice or quote. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice.

Late payment may result in follow-up action, suspension of future services, or recovery of reasonable debt collection costs.

  1. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should provide reasonable notice if a booking needs to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Cancellation, waiting time, or call-out fees may apply where a technician attends site and cannot access the work area, the booking is cancelled at short notice, the site is not ready, required contacts, keys, permits, or inductions are unavailable, or the work cannot proceed due to reasons outside our control.

  1. Warranties and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be provided with due care and skill and will be reasonably fit for the purpose made known to us where applicable.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A Plus Compliance Services Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business interruption, loss of data, or loss arising from the customer failing to act on reports, failed item notifications, or safety recommendations.

Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the resupply of the service or the cost of having the service supplied again.
